The Tale of Cathy on a Stick and the Three Bonsai

Cathy on a Stick went to the Monastery of the Holy Spirit to look for a Bonsai gift for her dad.




This Bonsai was too short (and WAY too expensive).




This Bonsai was too fat (and way too expensive).



This Bonsai was just right (and heavily discounted).

    Cathy, I loved this! Have you ever heard of 'Flat Stanley'? I would love some 'Cathy-on-a-stick' s for my kindergarten class -- Oh, the places you'll go.....................!

    Thanks, Eileen! I've heard of Flat Stanley--but not until after I'd taken Cathy-on-a-Stick to see Jane Yolen. She was an awfully good sport about the whole thing! ;-)
